Hi Gerrit,
a picture says more than thousand words. I prefer notes but here I accept this non noted. The impression on their faces is so well captured, the colours have the same warmth. The intimacy is given by the grass.

the image with these two kids interacting is great and lovely! A true jewel of capture of one of the many beautiful moments of infancy. Despite the perfectness in the moment of capture I have to do a critique on the technical part. Why on earth ISO 400. Looking in to the shutter opening and speed and I see that you had enough room to do it at least with ISO 200 if not even with ISO 100. Unfortunately I see some noise compromising the shot, mainly in the boys face.

Hi Gerrit,
Although it has a certain look of naive family snapshot, it's very appealing. You captured very nicely the beautiful smiles of the children, using a good pov and a great sense of opportunity. I like how the wild flowers seem to adorn the girl's hair (they remind me of those things used by traditional Thai and Khmer dancers). The fact of showing an European and an Asian child carries a nice message of tolerance.
The only thing less good is the definition (is it a radical crop?).

Dag, Gerrite. Een zeer romantische foto. De twee kinderen zijn in een prachtig decor en ze komen zeer goed uit op de achtergrond. Het contrast tussen het gras en hun kleren werkt heel goed. En ik hou van de manier waarop ze naar elkar kijken.

Das een leuke Gerrit, mooi zo tussen het gras en de warme kleuren maakt het zonnig charmant. Leuke krullebol ! (pas daar toch maar wat mee op, je kent hoe het hier soms raar aan toe gaat). Tot later, ik ruil even het wispulturig weer hier voor Capadoce 3 weken.

Ik zat even te twijfelen tussen je laatste landschap en deze,

Ca, c'est pas mal du tout comme réalisation,
plutot originale et en tous cas charmante et attendrissante.
