Waiting for the sunset, I spent a few hours on a warm and sunny spring evening on the beach of Bakkum with my family.
The shells were lighting up and the calm waves broke the reflection of the sun on the water surface. A boy came walking by.

A well composed image with a strong FG where the light gave splendid color tonalities on the sand and shells. A good capture as well on the silhouetted boy who's adding life and dynamism to the scene. The curved horizon also looks great!

I do like this vertical composition with good details on the f/g, lovely optics from the wide angle, and the young jogger provides drama. There is a white strip on the top right of the frame perhaps from cropping. Regards...Danilo

Hoi, buurtje.
Prachtig geframed en prima gebruik van backlight gemaakt. Een beetje overexposure is dan onvermijdelijk, maar het stoort hier beslist niet, integendeel. Het lijkt nu een plaatje uit vervlogen tijden, ik vind het heel mooi. Chapeaux!
Ik wens je nog een fijne zondag, zonnetje schijnt, pilsje daarbij, no problemo, he, he!

the concept of this shot is a very interesting one. I like the composition quite a lot with the very big foreground presenting us with a variety of seashells laying around in all shapes, position, clustered, etc. The boy as a silhoutte running along the shore is good, although I would have preferred him more off-center, more to the right. The bend horizon gave me at first a bad impression, but the longer I look into the picture the more I like it. It provides the image a frame. Speaking of which, you certainly tilted the image and cropped it during your PP and forgot to eliminate the abscence of any pixels at the very right top. Another PP detail that you forgot are the multiple little dirt spots on the image.
