we are proud 2014
I thought that if the Gay Pride wasn't going to drag me out of my photographic lethargy, nothing would... :)
it was a very, very wet Canal Parade what we had today - not rain but real thunderstorms, interspersed with a few moments of respite to shoot a couple of pictures. Luckily for me a nice Canadian girl agreed to hold my umbrella while I was shooting... but that didn't save me, ultimately I got soaked to my underwear just like everybody else :)

Back again, so you have holidays!
I like the joy is has to be naked in front of people; wearing only some strange goggles and hat.
Have a nice sunday

This looks fun, in a way, although it would take some courage to act this way in front of thousands of people. It's a well timed shot of this expressive face and just as expressively raised arm. There was a Pride parade in Stockholm too yesterday, but here the weather was very warm and sunny. I actually chose another direction for my afternoon walk to avoid the crowds ;-(.

Wow! What a fantastic portrait pic! Extremely well taken and smartly presented in b&w to get an eye-catching visual effect. Bravo! Impressive work in my opinion.

if amsterdam does not offer you anything worth photographing, then i wish you had gay prides everyday, so that we could see your work more often around here :)
this is a "brilliant" queen, so much gold should be glittering on his skin. and his pose is definitely gorgeous. i loved how you found these sepiaish whites amongst deep black. stay cool.

Hi dear Cristina, how are you?
So long time no news / contaxt with you, are you OK?
I like this sereies very much as these are all sensetional and also appealing. B&W color touch is also interesting and eye-catchinh option based on your originality.
All the best and have a good start of a new week!

great to see some new photos from you.
and of course its a people photo :)
What better place to take gay pride photos than the liberal country of the Netherlands.
I like how you cut the photo, cropped it, bypassing the rules - i like that.
the photo is fun and evokes alot of emotion and passion.

So the long wait for your return is over, and you're back with a bang! Great split-second of expression caught: Henri Cartier-Bresson would be "proud", and though he tended to prefer quieter moments, he did the reportage stuff too. This succeeds brilliantly in capturing the thrill and passion of the event. Beautiful shot created in difficult circumstances. Don't leave it so long next time...
