There are many street-artists at Dam-Square in Amsterdam. Mostly keeping their hand before their faces because you have to pay first if you want to photograph him or her !
Last Saturday there was Joan Of Arc, friendly for all people and children and not only thinking of the money.
You can imagine that she received a lot of money that day.
The building behind her is the Royal Palace.
Joan Of Arc, Jeanne d'Arc, everbody knows her so here's no information because there are lots of beautiful sites where you can read her story.
The songtitle is by Leonard Cohen.

Cette sculpture humaine est saisissante de réalité. Cette Jeanne d'Arc est fort bien mise en valeur.
Très bonne journée.

After observing this great representation of Joan of Arc, my thoughts immediately went to wondering how strong she must be, to hold that long sword, immobile for long sessions!
Great use of the narrow dof to create the sharp against the oof b/g.
Have a good day,

Mooi foto werk, bedankt.

I like the sharp subject against the blurred palace in the bg. Nice contrast.

an original and interesting presentation of the street artist that manages her role so attractively. I like the dynamic perspective you chose and the Royal Palace as sole context and backdrop. I also like how you obtained excellent sharpness on the heroine and a superb chromatic harmony all over. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great evening,
