Photographer’s Note

To end Day five (of the race, of course), a little sunset in blue and yellow colors, with two different framings and locations. I have chosen this one because it shows a little more of the ship, beeing taken further from the flag.

Hi Emmanuel, A truly gorgeous sky, blue often relates too cold & orange too warmth, here you have captured a beautiful blend between the two, as always the segment of ship you decided on in this picture is wonderful & superbly detailed, I'm not to sure if this is the Italian or Irish flag, however Its a great finish to the shot, kind regards Wilson.

You've framed the sun very well here, but what I like most is the effect of the light as it filters through the flag (Italian or Irish?). Lovely contrast between the sea colour & the warm colour in the horizon. Well done!

Moment merveilleux, surtout en pleine mer... Très joli contre-jour avec un netteté appréciable donnant des contours précis. J'aime beaucoup les dégradés de couleurs... le goéland qui aurait manqué !!! Merci Emmanuel.

An amazing atmosphere!
Sunset on sea can be very special, and the mood is well captured here...
The almost silhouetted ship stands out well, and the calm sea is an attractive element!
