Photographer’s Note

I take a brake of my vacation shots serie and today I`ll post one capture from my neighbourhood.
Photo was taken a few day ago when weather was really varying. It was sun, rain, clouds, clearly,... All that repeatedly few times in one day.
It seems to be september... ;-) In Holland.
I saw two ends of rainbow nicely but I couldn`t take it in just one shot.
Therefore two stitched photos, and ... finally I did like usual last time, a Large Version too.

very good work you did here. The light is excellent, the details are great and the panorama shot is excellently stitched together.

Very well done.

(I have to admit that the frame is not my favorite part of the picture though.)

Don, de weg met de schaduw geeft veel diepte, de huizen op het einde een aangename kleur, de wolken met de regenboog het echte typische Nederlandse weer, u zegt het zelf, regen wolken en zon. Ik beschouw deze als een zeer mooie weer foto, dit omdat ik altijd foto's maak voor het weerbericht op plaatselijke TV.

Nice composition with the rainbow in the corner and the dramatic sky. I really like these kind of stormy lights, they are so warm.
Your frame, hum... Probably a matter of taste but it disturbs my eye from the picture itself quite a lot. Why not go for something more simple?

Hello Don, blijkbaar ben ik verre van de eerste bij jouw foto ;-). Jij woont blijkbaar ook in een mooie streek. Om je foto op haar volle waarde te kunnen schatten moet je wel degelijk de LP bekijken en hij komt werkelijk heel goed over. Prachtig hoe die regenboog zo kleurig begint om dan te verdwijnen in dat dreigende wolkenspel om dan aan de andere kant weer te voorschijn te komen. Heel goed aan elkaar genaaid; geen naadje te zien. Niets dan lof over de foto, maar de frame is toch iets te dominant. Prachtig gedaan!

Nice landscape panoramic, Don! The sky is great and the two parts of the rainbow are a wonderful color touch. A great shot!

Great panorama with a beautifully washed clouds. The dark tree on the left provides a good frame and the rainbow is certainly a 'raisin' here (I hope you understand what I mean :)) The colours are very pleasant. Well, I can say September in Holland is almost the same as November here, may be just a bit colder :)
