Photographer’s Note

There is a hotel in central Maastricht which was coverted from an Abbey. The architecture is both stunning and highly creative.

The main entrance is shaped like gigantic trumpet and is intensely lit at night. The floor is like a runway. It is an unusual experience to walk down this brightly lit brass tunnel.

This shot was taken at night handheld without flash to capture the full effect.

My eye's attention was captured by the warm orange at first. In close look I do like the symmetry as well. Nice shot! Welcome to TE!
