Sint Pieter fortress Photo

Photographer’s Note

Peut-être un peu moin connu que le centre commercial de Maastricht, le Fort Sint Pieter qui domine cette grande ville et du sommet duquel on a une vue magnifique sur les alentours de cette cité.

Par de véritable angle avantageux pour le photographier, j'ai choisi un endroit où il y avait le moins d'éléments perturbateurs.

Bonsoir Daniel,

Cette forteresse est imposante. La présence des personnes a un effet d'échelle de grandeur. L'arbre de l'avant-plan et les autres de l'arrière-plan cadrent bien la forteresse. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs de la forteresse. Le ciel nuageux filtre la lumière qui donne un bon contraste aux couleurs. Bonne soirée.

Hello Daniel,
very good handle of light to achieve this great atmosphere and photo.
The fortress is really impressive, as is the sky from that day, just as we like isn't it?
I like to see those persons upthere to give us the sense of scale of that place.

Tu as choisi le POV qu'il fallait pour nous présenter cette forteresse que je ne connaissais pas. Ce ciel nuageux est en harmonie avec les vieilles pierres et a l'avantage de ne pas donner d'ombres disgracieuses trop prononcées.

Bonjour, Daniel. La masse imposante du fort se détache bien sur la verdure de l'avant-plan et sur le très beau ciel que tu as exposé de main de maître. Les visiteurs donnent bien l'échelle de la construction.

The location of this fortress must be at a considerable height. It would be interesting to Know how far is it from the sea level line for the sake most areas have to be defended by dikes. The structure`s steadiness still is well kept. Regards. Domingos
