Photographer’s Note
If you want to see the straight version that I wanted to post, pleas see the workshop.
View from the other side as the posting 'baya beach'from two days ago.
You can see Baya beach on the left and behind it the 'quarantaine-house'in wich 19th centure immigrants had to stay for a while before entering the country. A ship is lying ashore at the entrance of Caracasbay. The picture is taken from Fort Beeck, a 18th century Dutch fortification againmst pirates harassing these parts of the Island then.

Hi Gerrit
I like the superb color contrast, between the cyan & red. Good pov, with excellent lighting, & reasobnale color & sharpness. I may try a ws later, to add a little red & yellow. It looks a bit cold on my monitor. But good work overall, & tfs!

- Still a beautiful image, the hard and metal structure of the cargo, slices with the softness of the landscape, the sea is very beautiful, cheer!

Bonjour mon ami Gerrit,

Groeten,
John.

Hi Gerrit!
Man it's that beach again! It's surrounded by huge ships! I would feel slightly claustrophobic! The view is very beautiful and colourful again and there are many interesting details, but perhaps I would have liked a more obvious focal point, the different things in your composition tend to disorganize my viewing a little. A suggestion could for example be to actually leave out the eye-cathing cactii and concentrate on beach and ship with the lovely coloured water in front. Anyways, you are really marketing this wonderfully exotic place in a fine way. I hope to see more of it!
The best to you,
Chris

Hi Gerrit: the frame with vegetation, colors of the sea, landscape, all this is very nice in your photo, but IMO the star here is the ship, we can grasp its enormous size! I like these combinations of nature/man-made miracles, when they look in harmony, like in your pic. Well done! Regards, Daniel.

Hi Gerrit,
Another very good photo from beautiful Antilles!
The colors are very natural yet perfectly saturated; the water looks terrific. The composition is very good, too.

Hi Gerrit,
Spectacular POV over this bay. The colour of the water is really attractive and these cactuses in foreground make a wonderful frame for the bottom. The big boat is strangely funny as it seems out of context (and scale!), in such a beautiful place. The 'quarantaine-house' is also in a great spot and adds interest to the image, along with your note. Very well done!
TFS,

Hi Gerrit
