Photographer’s Note
Baya beach is a private beach on the east-side of Willemstad at the end of Caracasbaai, a natural harbour.
It is a nice mixed upplace where you van swim, watch the ships come by, dive to a sunken ship or visit Fort Beeck, the round tower here right from the center, a fortification built in the 18th century to scare off the pirates who terrified the spanish water in that days.

Bonjour Gerrit,
Très beau panoramique d'une plage qui allie beauté, farniente, architecture, un endroit très sympathique.
Couleurs vives pour un mois de janvier !
Très bien fait.
Amitiés.

Hi Gerrit,
Good management of hard light. This does not seem too contrasty. To be able to swim in January should be delightful..:))
Sharp and well composed colorful image.
Well done...

Beste Gerrit,
John

Hi Gerrit - a winning combination of many things here, the beach holiday atmosphere + historic fort + maritime industry + puffy white clouds, excellent work.

Hi Gerrit,
The exposure you got here is amazing Gerrit. Everything appears spot-on: colors, contrast, light, sharpness... all of them look great.
The details (from the ship to the tower) and atmosphere you captured are superb!
Very well done!

Wow, that is some beach! Both exotic and surrounded by civilazation. Colours are excellent and detail is great in this interesting scene. Well composed work! Only a little noise so perhaps I would use Neatimage on it.
Best regards my friend,
Chris

Hi Gerrit
What a plenty of miscellanea image. I can find here warm, sunny beach, interesting building and a ship. Great composition. Nice colours.

Hi Gerrit,
This popped up in random; it looked so different from my image of the Netherlands that I had to open it. Of course once I got it open, I had to stay to comment on the wonderful puff of clouds over the turquise waters in the channel, the water seems too pretty to be part of a commercial harbor as the freighter's presence indicates. Altogether a fascinating group of contrasts you've framed here.
Regards, Pat
