May, 13th, 1998 and I was diving the crystal clear waters of Bonaire, when I've shoot this French Angelfish in the site "Angel City".
One of the best things of the practice of scuba diving in Bonaire is that we can dive from the beach. And the diving is quite easy! The waters are calm, there is no current our rough seas, the waters are pretty clear and there are plenty of sealife.
I've shoot this fish exactly in the moment he was crossing the "map shapped" hole in the wall. I was diving just 45 feet down there and shoting with a Nikonos V and Velvia ISO 50.
So if you are looking for some fun diving easy skills, Bonaire is one of the best choices you´ll find. It was appointed several times by the Scuba Diving Magazine as the place for the "best dives for begginers"!

Hi Zeca!

What a great splash of colours! The way you’ve framed this fish with the surrounding stones is awesome. The main fish is perfectly standing for a 3/4 view and he’s probably a professional poser... Did he ask you for a dollar after the shot? I hope you didn’t accept, because many more are waiting in the back...

Always fascinating to see underwater images and this one is brilliant. J-J Cousteau would approve.

Lindo Zeca, um dos meus sonhos é um dia mergulhar e fazer fotos submarinas. Mas claro antes tenh oque aprender a megulhar, comprar equipamento e por umas lentes de contato heheh

Belas cores e enquadramento, gosto da moldura feita por corais e rocha e esse lindo azul de fundo. Parece que a tela virou um aquario.

Hi Zeca,
I guess it would be hard for people who have not witnessed the colours of the corals in their natural form if they haven't seen them. I have seen them in our Great Barrier Reef in Queensland. How you would love to dive there, it is so beautiful. This image you captured is superb, what a strikingly colourful fish. Beautiful.

A splendid watery painting. The colors of these fish are fantastic and luminous. As for the composition it is excellent, I like much framing with these multicoloured rocks. Clearness is also appreciable. Beautiful and interesting photograph, cheer and thank you.

Isso que da quando "caboclo" vai mundo afora. Descobre estes lindos lugares com cores de pasmar. O "mapa" do Brasil deu um lindo framing para este peixe extraordinariamente belo. Que beleza de compo e cores, Zeca. Engracado que TE da este local como sendo na Europa. Tive que dar uma olhadinha no mapa mundial para achar a localizacao correta de Bonaire.

Tabém estive fora uns dias e agora é um tempo enorme para ver as fotos. Ainda não tinha visto a sua galeria. Esta foto está excelente.Gosto da composição incluíndo tantos pequenos peixes e do colorido. Não deve ser fácil tirar fotos aí mas está óptima!
