A well framed shot of this little bird on its prickly perch. The inclusion of the foliage in the bottom right corner helps strengthen the composition considerably. Superb colour contrasts and clarity.

very sweet composition. I like it very much. I like cactee and recently I am getting interested with birds photography. Not too much but just ocassionally.
This is such a funny capture where you have both a strange bird AND posing on a cactus.

Je ne crois pas que ce soit l'endroit idéal pour poser son arrière train, à mois qu'il n'ait une démangeaison qui mérite d'être grattée. Un très beau cadrage quoique j'aurais ouvert le ciel devant le bec de l'oiseau plutôt que derrière.

Hallo Luciano,

Een foto dat opvalt vanwege de hele mooie en zachte belichting. Hierdoor valt gelijk de voorgrond en uiteraard het vogeltje gelijk op, maar ook komt de blauw van de lucht heel mooi over.

Heel goed heb je de ruimte in de foto behouden, dat maakt het geheel aangenaam rustig en geef je zogenaamd het vogeltje de extra vrijheid.

Wat misschien een leuke optie is (dus geen verbetering), is om de cactus en het vogeltje alleen op de foto te laten staan, ofetwel dat je links en recht een behoorlijke uitsnede maakt en zo een verticale panorama foto ontstaat.

Che grande attore hai trovato qui. Difficile di guardare questa foto senza immaginare che quest'uccello sta gridando dentro di sé e che si contiene soltanto per la foto ! ;)
Sembra sul chi vive quest'ucello. Ha trovato un buona torre di controllo per osservare il mondo.
Bella la nitidezza della tua foto, mi dispiaciono solo le foglie sulla destra.

You've captured the exotic bird in the most unlikely of all places. In some places, such as in Venice, they design prickly wire needles to discourage birds from landing and soiling surfaces. This bird clearly would not be discouraged by wire needles, when the needles of a cactus does not bother him.

Lovely composition with this little bird on top of the cactus, the wonderful blue sky gives the best background and makes the bird much like the thorns of the plant give the feeling of relief.
