On the southern edge of the Washington-Slagbaai National Park, the Goto Lake is the largest salt water lake of Bonaire and it forms with the surrounding arid hill countryside one of the most astonishing places on this beautiful Carribean island.

Hi Gerrit, Always is the same, I look at the miniature and think where in Netherlands they have such landscape?? Wonderful view on the see and mountains, and of course the cactuses.

Hello Gerrit,
The foreground vegetation gives the image depth, whilst the centre plant seems to mirror the background mountain peak. The ambient light is very attractive and the colours natural. A most attractive place to visit and no doubt a photographer's paradise.

Dag Gerrit,

Vrienden van ons zijn zondag vertrokken naar Bonaire, maar speciaal om te duiken.
Een schitterend land zo te zien, de exotische en het meer zorgen voor een aangenaam beeld.
Opvallend is dat we geen kat zien van toeristen, maar u moet zeker genoten hebben.
Mooi foto werk, bedankt.

Amazing vegetation shown in your very sharp photo. The place has an almost other-worldly appearance. The photo is well composed in providing a long range view with excellent depth of field, with the spiky foreground plant and the distant mountains. Well done.
