A waterdoor in the walls of Sleat/Sloten.

Sloten (Sleat in frison language) is the smallest of the eleven cities. It is an historical city with old building, a mill in the centre and two waterdoors.

Friesland ( in Frisian Fryslân) is a province in the north of the Netherlands and part of the bigger region know as Frisia ( part in Netherlans, part in Germany). In Friesland, they speak two languages: the Dutch and also the Frisian (West Frisian).

Très belle port et arche, qui nous invite et nous guide vers ce vieu bâteau, ave cle gonflabe jaune et blue, sacrée épaisseur cette porte fortifiée, très belle compo.

Hello Roger,
Good use of the old bridge to frame the barge. The lighting wasn't easy, but you have managed it reasonably successfully. The blue and yellow dinghy adds a pleasing splash of colour.

Bonjour, mon ami Roger,
Magnifique arche en arc surbaissé (segmentaire)!
Un cadrage soigné pour valoriser ce bateau qui doit franchir le pont une fois le mât baissé (je suppose).
Une image qui donne une impression de relief.
Très belle réalisation.

L'arche du pont cadre bien le voilier. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails et les couleurs du pont et du voilier. L'image est claire et précise. la bonne luminosité rehausse les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Hi Roger

That is the perfect frame, the boat below the bridge looks great. You also cropped correctly because you would had too much backlight, but cropping the upper part of the bridge solved the problem. Well done

Very romantic view of these good old constructions and sailing vessel. The composition with green vegetation in the background and multicolored flags in the middle ground is very well . It is nice to see that Ukrainian blue-yellow flag colors are presented too, as the colors of the inflatable boat. Excellent job!

Salut Roger.
Une jolie capture avec cet arc dans la fortification de la ville, d'effet précieux avec le bateau vu atraves de l'arc. Une difficile lumière très bien résolue et une bonne couleur pour former l'image.

hai scelto veramente una bella cornice per mostrarci questa interessante veduta di Sloten. Mi piace il contrasto tra la vecchia barca e il piccolo gommone colorato. Le tue foto sono sempre molto piacevoli, bravo!
