[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This picture was taken in 2004. I live next to a beautiful lake and in the morning you can often see the beautiful lights of the sunrise. Before I go to school, I often grab my camera to take a couple of pics. The lake is called the "Rutbeek", it's in a so called "recreation park" in Enschede, in the east of the Netherlands.

The picture was not taken with my Canon PowerShot S2 IS, I didn't have that one yet at that time, but I took this pic with my dad's Olympus camera.

What an incredible setting of dark red Anouk. A most special result. I think a little different use of photo not so centered had worked here as well. I.E. a slight crop in the lower part. There is also a little tilt in the waterline that could have been adjusted before posting. Still an amazing and very spectacular setting under the low light and deep colour of red.

Nice colors. I feel there is a bit of noise.

Yes, that's a beautiful view with the silhouettes of the swans and the ducks. The colours are amazing!
But Anouk, it's only 614 pixels wide and te size is only 27 kb, so the quality is less than acceptable. One side van be maximum 800 pixels wide and the max size is 200 kb. Try to post as close to the limits as possible to present your photos in the best quality. You can do it with PhotoFiltre! Have luck!

Mooie foto met zeer mooie kleuren. Ik denk dat het contrast nog iets hoger zou mogen zijn en misschien zou je nog mogen bijknippen. Ik heb een workshop gemaakt om je te tonen wat ik bedoel :)

PS: Vergeet niet dat de limiet per foto 200kb is en dat de langste zijde 800px mag zijn. Je voorkomt op die manier dat je foto aan kwaliteit verliest! ;)

this is one of those shot when one can say only: wow, what a light! Trully amazing sunset colours with most lovely motive: a swan couple. How not to enjoy such beauty! Great capture!

Hello Anouk,

Surprising. An unreal side with this red color of the sky wich is reflected in the lake.
The birds wich swinn in the middle of the lake bring a touch of reality.
Really verry successful.
