Photographer’s Note
This is a reflection of a kind of monument in the University of Twente. Local stories tell us the small village Drienerlo sank away in the mud far before the University was founded. One of its last remainders might be the top of the Church Tower found back by Wim T. Schippers in 1979. He claimed a whole city is hidden down there under the pond!

Very nice shot Irwan. I like the atmosphere, BnW is perfect. It seems like an horror film landscape ! One of my favorites !

What a beautiful shot, I just love the scraps on the top of the image. And the atmosphre is indeed dark yet magical.
