Autumn Signs Photo

Photographer’s Note

This morning I went looking for the first signs of autumn. I found this beauty coincidentally on the autumn leaves I was photographing. The ladybug is surrounded by numerous eggs. It was a great pity I didn't have my macro lens with me, but I do like the result anyway. Hope you like it as well. I've cropped the original picture a bit.

Usually this type of blurred backgrounds are easy to enjoy, and this one is really good one for its combination of yellows, reds and swift browns.

Hello Josien,

Accept my congrats for this fine shot of urs. The way you've captured the bug on the edge of leaf, with rest of yellow in blurry BG, has made it a special shot. Also, very apt title. Well done.

Hi Josien,

The title autumn signs makes me a bit sad, because its the season thats shows the starving of nature. On the other hand, the bright picture of this ladybug (or "schatjebeest" in dutch) makes me feel like autumn is the start of a whole new part in the circle of life. It shows (maybe thanks to the blurred background) the brightness of this season.

Die is al weer een hele tijd geleden gepost!! Maar wel een hele mooie focus hier.
De tijden van de mooie herfstbladeren liggen helaas al ver achter ons. Ik kijk uit naar de lente!!!!

Hoi Josien,
Prachtige herfstkleuren passend bij het lieveheerebeestje. Al die eitjes netjes naast elkaar. Worden ze geteld. Dit heb ik nooit eerder gezien.Zo zie je maar weer.
