LAZY KING

After all the stress and intense emotions of yesterday, when the new version of the TE-site was launched, we can relax today and enjoy Ascension day.
Lars [TUE] (add this clever guy to your favourites, if you didn’t that before) found out that the old site was the new beta-version and Brent Conver, Site Director has confirmed in the forum, somewhere hidden between all the other messages (when will they read a book about communication) that the previous “look and feel up” will be on BETA.TREKEARTH.COM and that there are no immediate plans to remove beta.trekearth.com.

So I can advise you to ensconce yourself in the arms of the “The Lazy King”, like these two girls did. You can find this relaxed Highness in the Sonsbeek-park in Arnhem, Holland.

This sculpture is one of the new achieved works of arts of the city of Arnhem after the exhibition of Sonsbeek 2008.
The sculpture is an creation of Alain Séchas.

U koos wel een goed overwogen moment met de dames juist achter de sculpture, dat heeft u goed gezien.
Mooie samenstelling en zeker met kunst gevuld.

Hi Rob,

Splendid art shot. The with sculpture looks really great agains the green grass and green trees. Your positioning of the two young ladies is excellent. You make it look like they are sitting on the arm of the sculpture. I think this is the best choice here, because it might not be easy to hide the behind the sculpture by choosing a low POV. A really great photo job. TFS and have a nice evening!

Merci pour cette note d'humour qui vient après les turbulences de la journée d'hier sur le site. J'aime voir les filles profiter de cette Lady au repos pour s'assoir et bavarder sur son bras.

De luie koning ligt er hier mooi bij, net als bij ons op de kast, en de dames liggen mooi in zijn armen. Het wit is er goed uitgekomen ondanks het felle zonlicht.

I didn't know that the "old" version of TE still exist now as beta.trekearth.com. It's nice to see it, good memories but I think this "new" version is better, I'm just getting use to it. Sorry that I missed all your wonderful shots but at the time you post it in TE I was visiting my son in Miami.
Interesting sculpture, good shot captured with nice colors and the two beautiful girls. Just a place to relax. Thank you for your note.

Bien vu Rob,
on dirait ces deux jeunes femmes assises sur la bras de cette paresseuse statue. Bonne exposition de ces blancs très lumineux et un POV au presque ras du sol astucieux.
