Photographer’s Note

These sheep keep the grass short on the dike of the Ijsselmeer. Most of the land in this region is below sea level and so the dikes have to keep the land dry all the time. The sheep help in maintaining the dikes in good shape and tight.

Das gefällt mir - auch der Titel! Einfach, aber voller Ruhe und Beschaulichkeit, und das Licht ist einfach wunderschön.
Und dann ist da auch noch das "schwarze Schaf" ... ;-)

so.. you say - you travel by tram ? I guess in your place they are much better than my Krakow's oldies ;-)
Perfect shot, well composed with good color baalnce and ideal sharpness.
I like especially the contrast between the sheeps and beautiful blue sky.
