Landscape in Friesland Photo

Photographer’s Note

This photograph is not perfect. I however post because this landscape is typical of Friesland, an area which I like very much. Landscape of polders, channels, bif farms with red roof, cows and...a héron.

Friesland ( in Frisian Fryslân) is a province in the north of the Netherlands and part of the bigger region know as Frisia ( part in Netherlans, part in Germany). In Friesland, they speak two languages: the Dutch and also the Frisian (West Frisian).

This photo was taken in the area of the lakes of Friesland, around Workum (Warkum in Frisian).

Tu as tout a fait raison de la publier, l'ensemble est superbe, varié aves divers animaux, de très belles couleurs, un belle plate forem sur l'eu avec les roseau, les petite fleurs, et ces belle ferme au loin, mangigique.

Hi Roger!
As you mentioned,it is not the best exposure but I like this peaceful scene.Great POV and good composition with the pond and the heron ,the cows and the typical architecture of this region.Good light and natural colors.

très belle prise de vue qui vaut la publication.On ne peut pas toujours publier des photos parfaites.Et qu'est-ce qui est parfait?Cette image me plait beaucoup elle inspire le calme, la tranquilité de la vie à la campagne.Beau travail.

Bonjour Roger,

Le canal dirige notre regard vers les maisons de l'arrière-plan ce qui donne de la profondeur à la photo. Les différentes teintes de couleurs sont des compléments à la composition. La lumière intense n'a pas affecté la beauté des couleurs. Un paysage de campagne agréable a regardé. Bon dimanche.

yes, you have reason: this photo is not perfect but it's very interesting for the beautiful landscape and the presence of many animals, also a heron.

Roger, ce paysage est bien composé, un peu comme le faisaient les peintres paysagistes. J'aime le chemin du regard sur ce paysage qui part du coin inférieur droit, passe par le héron pour aboutir aux maisons. Quelle sérénité !

Très jolie image , tout en finesse , avec les vaches discrètes et le héron dans la mare . Belle composition agréable . Dommage qu'elle manque de netteté .

J'aime beaucoup cette composition bucolique à souhait. Pouvoir saisir en même temps un héron cendré (du moins, je le suppose) et un aussi beau paysage, cela mérite les félicitations.

effectivement, sue le plan de la qualité du rendu, on peut faire mieux, mais il ne fallait pas nous priver de ces magnifiques paysges hollandais.
Sur la plan des couleurs elle est parfaite.
Et ce héron n'échappe à personne.

Hello Roger,

A peaceful scenery has been captured!
The farm in the back, the grazing cows... even the heron seems to enjoy the tranquility...
The pond in front makes a lead-in to the landscape, the image is well composed with fine natural colours!

Trés jolie vue de marais ou de mare, avec le petit héron en prime. Il y a peut-être une petite dégradation de la netteté dans le fonds de l'image, mais c'est l'impression d'ensemble qui compte ici pour cette vue de paysage.

Bonjour Roger,
Même si, comme tu le dis, la photo a quelques imperfections techniques, tu fais bien de la publier car l'atmosphère de la Frise est bien rendue avec ce moulin qu'on devine au fond , les grands toits des fermes, les vaches (il manque les chevaux!) et ce petit marais avec le héron. Une très belle région même si ce n'est pas la plus visitée des Pays-Bas.

As you say, this is not perfect, but a very soothing scene, with the stream as a good lead-in, nice contrasts with the green. Like the wooden bridge, the red roofs & the stork.A very nice rural landscape.
