Photographer’s Note

Harlingen, a very beautifull village in the very north of Holland. Mainly a fishing place although lately also visited by many tourist. The first damm built in that country in the 16th century was in that village. Worth visiting this quiet and special place.

I quite like the yellow cast, it adds to the mood of the photo and reminds of old postcards. as to the composition - I think I'd prefer it slightly shifted to the right. I don't think you need that piece of concrete on the left, but it would be nice to see the pavement on the right closer to the corner of the shot, I thing it would emphasise this natural frame even more. also, for some reason the photo seems tilted to the right a bit, but may it's only an optical trick my tired eyes play :) still, a great shot, thanks for sharing.

I like this picture very much because of the special atmosphere.Very good composition with nice colors.The light is amazing...Well seen and well done.

une photo qui effectivement ne manque pas de charme et ce sont ces lumières d'un soleil très bas, associées à ces couleurs chaudes qui en sont les artisans, sans oublier cette ambiance calme, feutrée et silencieuse.
