This image rendered too dark. I attempted to brighten it without success. Your note emphansizes the difference in sea level on either side of the barrier. It probably would have been better to take a shot that clearly showed the difference, as opposed to a sun-shot which made the water level impossible to see.
Suggestion: carefully select which images you will post to the web.
