Photographer’s Note

This is the third picture of my First Wintersign serie.
I took this picture while driving along the Noord Willems Kanaal (Canal). A Canal which is preferably by fishers, catching great fishes in the summer. The tree's had so nice light blue color of the snow, that I had to take this picture.

Can you guys tell me were to take such pictures, which point of view? I'm not quite sure about my point of view.

hello florian, I like the perspective here. the snow gives a very rich texture of the grass. somehow you lost some color at the end of the path. My advice. take two shots. one underexposure and other overexposure and them mixture them in graphic program. still, i like the over all effect. thanks for sharing. gabriel

Mooi hoe die lijnen de diepte in lopen. Heb je zeker in de tekenles geleerd bij de gepensioneerde heer Hamstra.
Ik heb ook steeds wat te zeuren maar misschien had je de foto toch moeten spiegelen om de dieptewerking/perspectief beter tot zijn recht te laten komen. Van welk standpunt je deze foto's maakt is erg afhankelijk van louw smaak. Proberen laat vaak zien dat er meerdere goede standpunten te vinden zijn. Leuk om er eens een paar te zoeken als er weer sneeuw ligt. Als je ze samen afbeeld kan dat een interessant plaatje opleveren. Iets voor een expositie?
