Photographer’s Note
The morning drizzle set in shortly after 7AM. The medieval town center of Kotor had stirred earlier once when the bakeries opened their doors and push cart vendors took their wares to the open air market outside the city wall. Sounds subsided. The drizzle makes one retreat. I picked up a cup of espresso and sat down under the umbrella, taking in the cool damp air, to see the flow of men and women shuffle past.

Love it. Can't help but marvel at all those diverging straight lines exploding upwards followed by their reflection from the top and subsequently connecting all the dark rectangles popping out from the otherwise "featureless" walls (may I call it an excercise in "ray"-optics). You could not have found a more easy on the eye subject to practice the "2/3rd rule" :)

great composition! the diffrent lines from the umbrella and the building work well against each other. also, the woman walking adds the perfect amount of interest in the photo, but is not the focus. one change perhaps is to crop out the bit of another umbrella peaking into the top of the frame here.

i'm most disappointed that this type of "goodies" get so little attention...and thisi image offers full set of interesting things...let me just mention that this "small umbrella-large umbrella" combination is exceptional...

hello Animesh,
I like the strong grain and the crop. Great moment to have the umbrella in the umbrella :)

Very nice construct here Animesh: the MACRO and the MICRO of umbrellas ;D
Beautifully, precisely framed, different feel of the F3 viewfinder compared with the Mu, eh? Came in very handy here.

Lovely idea with the two umbrellas, and the large one with the geometry of its poles. The square is bathed in whiteness. It's a pity her figure is somewhat obscured by the door in the background.
