Photographer’s Note

That's all we'd like to do at times...Perast was one of the first names that crossed my mind when I thought of a place to relax, seat idly, clear your head. Even if my memory is limited to one sunny afternoon there, I wouldn't mind being taken there this very moment- a walk trough eternity- as one slogan advertises the town...not such a bad choice of words, not bad at all...

You have done a wonderful job here Aleksandra. This photo really exemplifies your title. The warm glow of the sun gives this photo a very beautiful look and a very carefree feel. I really like your composition with the people all looking out towards the water. The town in the middle looks wonderful and the mountains in the background are great too. Very nicely done.

Your pov is superb showing off the charming village and the inclusion of the relaxed people intently ovserving something going on the water adds intrigue and lots of interest to the foreground. The soft light is very beautiful.

Hi Alexandra,
A very nice daily life photo. I like the compo with the people on the right and the central position of the old (looking) houses. DOF is great with three parts of interest, the people, the houses and the mountains in the back. The low sunlight is just beautiful.

The lighting here is really beautiful and brings out the relief and textures and contrasts of the people and the village beyond. The soft tones have a peaceful and relaxing feel. An excellent capture.

Une scène assez paisible et qui donne envie de voyager dans ces pays méconnus mais qui ont visiblement tout leurs charmes de leurs coté ! J'aime beaucoup la luminosité et les teintes que tu as capté dans cette belle photographie !

możesz nie wierzyć, ale wczoraj wieczorem buszowałem po twoich zdjęciach i tak sobie myślałem, że szkoda, że sobie gdzieś poszłaś, że nie dajesz nowych zdjęć, że w ogóle gdzieś cie nie ma...a tutaj dzisiaj proszę...piękno niespodziewanych miejsc...mam nadzieję, że tym razem robisz w należytym formacie i w odpowiedniej jakości...

Hi Aleksandra,

I came across this picture of Perast. Late afternoon sun makes the light yellowish, soft and warm. The mood seems very relaxing.
