Here is a shot in Kotor, a medieval town in Montenegro. The town is in the UNESCO heritage list. A wonderful place of cobbled stone alleyways and ancient houses, with very friendly people. Given the last hundred years of painful history of the Balkans, with intrigue and strife, I tried to capture a dark mood. But at present Montenego is a very stable place with a rebounding economy and flourishing tourism. If you wish to get a glimpse of an old world charm the time to visit Montenegro is now, before it also changes forever.
Shot on Ilford Delta 3200. |

I love the composition of the picture, I like the way light falls on the floor and the grain like appeal it is creating. Nice shot!
Hi, Animesh!
It's a very difficult shot to make, I guess. You must have played with exposition to get it right. I am a big fan of B&W classical stuff. Wonderful composition, framing of the picture. The noticeable grain adds to the atmosphere here. I reckon this is a benchmark work (like few others you have)! Honestly, I would be proud if I made a picture like this.
Only thing I might have changed is cropping of 1cm from the top of the image (If I may suggest that)

What an interesting shot, I was charmed with the woman's apparition it's a pity though you didn't move two steps on your left : I'm not very happy with the overlapping of the table.
I see you use Delta3200, personnally i'm a TMAX3200 fan, the most beautiful grains that a film can produce.
