Au pied du massif rocheux d'Orlov, sur l'endroit où était la cour d'Ivan Crnojevic, le dirigeant Danilo a construit le monastère de Cetinje en 1701. Le bloc de monastères est devenu le centre de vie spirituelle, culturelle et politique du Monténégro. Il a été détruit plusieurs fois par les Turcs et chaque fois reconstruit.

At the foot of the rocky Orlov Krs, on the place where the court of Ivan Crnojevic once stood, ruler Danilo built the monastery of Cetinje in 1701.
