Just a self therapeutic post I guess, nothing special here. Taken last spring at the Montenegrian coast, in the town of Herceg Novi, their nice pier more precisely.

Une très belle lumière diffuse innonde ce paysage.
L'image est bien construite, avec une belle perspective; le format vertical est bien choisi.

Hello Marija. A wonderful picture. Composition, colors, light, - everything perfectly. Very beautifully. Tendency-fully. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Hello Lady with the beautiful eyes who is entering my screen through a thumbnail and most of all using a Nikon in not such a bad way ;-)
Technical side first, is there a tilt on the horizon, or is that reflection sunlight in the lake fooling my eyes?
The backlight is very good with still a lot of detail were the lantarns bring us to the background were people waiting...very nice focalpoints you created there, i like such details.
The whole picture looks a bit cold with all that blue, but still there is a warm toning inside, probabaly caused by the reflecting sunslight on the water...very nice.
Did you added vignette?
Enjoy the rest of the weekend, Henk

The color range - specially those blues - is perfect here. The vertical composition is also good. But I miss something on the foreground. Probably more light or a human element. I a missing something here...

I love that beautiful perspective created and the sun against creates beautiful shadows

The light is balanced perfectly, I like that soft effect at the back.
The vignetting effect simply works perfect, I've made the same in my latest post in Kyparissia with the flag. Vignetting is also a creative tool and not a always a mistake.
Technically you've checked that matter with the horizon as mentioned, It would have fooled me though. My tip for tilting is to calculate the vertical lines if you can't get a proper horizon and you'll find your balance in seconds. Hold your breath and click!
The light at the back tricked you here, who wouldn't? compare the big lamp in the right with your right ending being parallel and you'll find balance, trust me ;)
There is also a dust spot on top and a bit left from the center, you could kill with the healing brush tool. Damn dust, when aperture is quite narrow like the one you used, you get this kind of flaws, it happens to me all the time.
Simply click on the healing brush tool icon in PS, pick a brush with left click (same size as the dust spot), then go to a neighborhood sky area, hold alt and click for a start point, then click over the dust spot and its gone. I use that technique in portrait retouch where face spots and dots are eliminated. Contact me if you need any further help.
Great PP, Its a very interesting picture.
Many Regards my friend

Seeing this photo from you Marija, I have the feeling that I made it.
For some reasons (I don't know why) if I am in front from a light like that and some street lamps in line, I can not stop my self to make a photo. Nothing really special, but I am always fascinated from it.
Very good manage of the existing light, gave very good results.
Actually the little mistake with the tilt, does not count a lot to the composition. The most important are the feelings that the photo gives.
Best regards from Greece, which as I understood from your photos you must really like it.

... and therapeutic it is, love the cool launging/chillin' out mood of this shot, that's something I need right now. the shimmering silver light makes everything look very refined and elegant, while the line of the lamp posts create a captivating perspective. nice one :)

Beautiful subtle blue tones and the feel of the image looks relaxing. I like the positioning of the lights and the few people at the end of the pier.
btw, I like the black and white tonal images you have been producing of late also.

This is a fine composition. Very few colours but many nuances. I like the light from the lamps guiding me towards the end of the pier, to the marvellously shining water.
My only visit to Herceg Novi a few years ago was very short because of rain that made me return to Kotor. I'll make another attempt in a few weeks and will hope for better weather,
