Photographer’s Note
Old Bar is an ancient walled town, in a stunning location on the slopes of the mountain Rumija. Recent archeological finds confirm that a settlement existed here as early as 800BC. During the 3rd century BC, the occupying Romans destroyed the old settlement and abandoned it for a location nearer to the sea. Centuries later, the Byzantine Emperor Justinian built a fortified town on the original site, and Stari Bar started to develop into an active centre. By the 11th century it had became one of the most important political, economic and cultural towns on the Adriatic coast.

Hello Peppe,
A very appealing view through the archway along the old cobbled path. Good well balanced composition with nice lighting and pleasing colours. Fine clarity.

Hvala na dobrodošlici.
Odmah mi se svidjela ova slika, jer imam i ja jednu ovakvu ali ne tako lijepu kao što je ova proljećna verzija.
Svaka čast!
Pozdrav!

Hi Peppe,
Excellent composition, with a nice touch of the tree in bloom. You managed to preserve details both in the shaded and sunny parts of this photo. Well done!
