Hello Barbara ,
From this POV and with this framing , Monte Carlo looks like a big village ! Not any high rises here , only the beautiful til roofed buildings ,castles and churches , surrounded by the greenery .
Splendid contrast with the blue sea in the BG .

wow, what a beautiful looking postcard!
I'd buy this one anyday.
What i like the most is the small amount of blue color above the city, it really makes the scene pop. Such a smart choice to leave out the sky.
love the colors and the point of view, a perfect photo for me!

Ciao e buona serata

What an excellent POV and saturates colors mainly of the orange roofs and besides providing excellent contrast with the sea at the back
Enjoy your week end

You used an excellent high POV to present all Monte Carlo on this picture, nicely surrounded by a huge wall at this side and the splendid blue Mediterranean on top of the photo.
With its fiery red roofs and pastel facades the town looks so wonderful between the green wooded foreground and the blue sea.
Best regards, Paul

Monte Carlo like I have never seen it before. It looks so idyllic away from the ugly towers... This part is the most attractive, together with the Place du Casino and Monte Carlo Opera.
One funny anecdote; while watching the change of the guard at the palace, I have seen Prince Albert arriving in a small motorcade and getting inside the palace swiftly through a side door, just a few meters away from me. Two summers later, I was cycling in the middle of the night and stumbled on a huge movie set that was taking place in Old Montreal. As I stopped to have a glimpse at the shooting, I happened to stand next to the Prince again, as he was financially implicated in the production.
Now that he married a South African athlete, it is a big deal here... but the guy seems to be very down to earth. I don't think I could have stand next to Prince Charles in the middle of the night... :-p))

I like very much how balanced and elegant this composition looks as you have employed the elements that define the scenery, the colours and the perspectives in an excellent way. We get a great idea of this beautiful town and of its natural surroundings, depth and clarity are superb. Apart from that, even beyond the physical description, the picture is a delight to look at for its beautiful light and bright contrasting colours.

Beautiful view of the old town that you have here, it is really nicely positioned between the greenery and the so blue sea. The blue sea brings out the red tones really nicely too, and the eye is drawn to each building in the town in turn. Congratulations for taking such a new and unusual scene from Monte Carlo, so different from the typical views we often see.
All the best

piekne miejsce i ladnie uchwycone w semi panoramicznym formacie. Swietna pogoa wyraznie sprzyjala i kolory sa bardzo soczyste i zywe. Ladny kontrast i ostrosc. Palmy w prawym dolnym rogu dodaja ciekawego klimatu calosci.
