Sorry to all my TE friends, I've been working & studying; in the New Year I will have more time to myself & TE.
A mirror reflecting the famous Monte-Carlo casino, a great day & a great time, however I never gambled, MY WIFE WOULD NOT ALOWE ME.

A very nice view rich in colours and in details very well collected with a POV well selected.
But I like especially the superd, the incredible reflections. Congratulations for these reflections.

Monte Carlo is one very expensive place and untouchable for us simpley kind
jlbrthnn (79791) 2008-12-23 12:22
This mirror is misleading, I see a ball out of glass rather there. An image of a close place, and that I do not know, like good of others. A pleasant image, of good quality.
Have a nice evening. Joyeux Noël

Very nice and fresh photo with beautiful colours! I like the reflections of the Monte Carlo Casino in the middle of the photo.
Wish you and your family a Merry Christmas!!

A beautiful garden, very nicely presented and with colours very well rendered. You chose the POV very well, the image reflected on the mirror is also very well composed. It's intriguing how we can't perceive the exact shape of the mirror, sometimes it looks like a sphere, sometimes it looks like a flat mirror (if we don't pay attention to the reflection, of course).
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family.

Seasons greetings Wilson. Great photo. The mirrored sphere looks a bit surreal propped up there. Excellent sharpness and colours. Nice work and thanks for sharing.
Have a great Xmas, Paul.

HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and your family! So... I wouldn't mind to have a bit of those palm trees, colors, and weather, here in Amsterdam, right now, if possible... LOL! Intriguing shot, that convex reflection plays a key role in the scenery adding a sort of weird yet most pleasant unpredictability to it. Well seen and well presented, TFS! Have a good day, I'll be seeing ya.

Beautiful and pleasant photograph to detail, the estival luminosity is very beautiful, it allows bright colors and a splendid reflection in this mirror/sculpture. The landscape that you photographed is harmonious, I like much. Thank you Wilson and happy to se you again among us on TE.
With all my friendships and a very good day,

What happened to the spare time you were expecting??!! ;D
Excellent shot of an unusual feature. The central composition works well in this instance and it was a good idea for the wide view, but I would also like to see a closer view of the reflection in another post. :D
patdeph (35746) 2009-01-27 8:13
I didn't think that it was a mirror, but a glass bal where it was possible to see a pure reflexion! The luminous colours are splendid, they give a nice feeling of heat! The exotic landscape with the palmtrees is superb!

Welcome back and you choose a fine image for the occasion.
The uniquely shaped mirrow catches some lovely contrasting colors and shapes.
The colors here are wonderfully clear and natural with excellent sharpness to this lovely tropical scene.

What a good composition...
Beautiful scenery with superb light and colors.
pierrefonds (53272) 2009-01-28 16:44
The reflections in crystal ball are assets to the composition. The vegetation and the flowers are framing well the ball. The point of view leads our eyes toward the buildings in the background. The light is enhancing the colors of the scenery. have a nice day.

Hi Wilson, I like this - you do not gamble because your wife not allow you - I would like to be such a wife. But my husband does what he wants. I like the view of the casino in this sphere. Nice view of almost all Monte Carlo, beautiful flowers. warm regards
anducina (8407) 2009-01-29 3:41
Beautiful scene, Monte Carlo seems to be very nice (so I've heard...) and that spherical mirror is a great idea. Excellent capture. A summer scene with green trees, flowers and blue sky is very welcome on that grey January day, here in Romania...
siolaw (37644) 2009-01-29 21:44
A colorful and bright view of the park, with this mirror reflecting the casino adding interest.
Enter this casino and you're in trouble!!
vinicio (23415) 2009-01-30 13:51
A rich and large view of the fantastic mirror in front of the casino, well done Wilson, all the green around it is very pleasant, compliments.

Hi Wilson, This is unusual and interesting. The round mirror like statue is a fine subject, surrounded by nature. Your anti-gambling habbit is to be admired, even if that is what the world's banks seem to have been doing. A plot to keep us working it seems! TFS. Murray.
