Photographer’s Note

Monte Carlo ist ein Stadtteil von Monaco, der für sein Casino und seine Prominenz bekannt ist. Es wird manchmal fälschlicherweise als Hauptstadt von Monaco ausgegeben. Monaco hat als Stadtstaat jedoch keine Hauptstadt. Als Verwaltungszentrum kann man den Stadtteil Monaco-Ville ansehen, in dem zahlreiche Behörden, das Schloss und die Kathedrale liegen.
Seinen Namen verdankt Monte Carlo dem Fürsten Charles III., der in den 1860er Jahren in dem bis dato unentwickelten Gebiet ein Casino ansiedelte. Der Name Quartier de Monte Carlo wurde der Umgebung der Spielbank am 1. Juli 1866 verliehen.

Guten Abend Siegfried, ist es wahr, dass Monaco attraktiv ist sind Hafen sind Kreislauf in Stadt und sind Hafen, aber ohne Monte Carlo es wird weniger Menge geben, schöne Genauigkeit der Einzelheit in diesem ersten Plan oder das wimmlt von Leben, das gibt d' sowohl mehr Beschaffenheit als auch auf den ersten Blick, selbst wenn c' ist das Meer, und das Relief steil, das heranzieht, ist es trotzdem der Reichtum des ersten s'plans; komme tragen in einer sehr schönen Natur ein, die meine Aufmerksamkeit wecken, sehr freundschaftlich ......... ......................Bonsoir Siegfried, C’est vrai que Monaco est attractif pour sont port sont circuit en ville et sont port, mais sans Monte Carlo il y aurai moins de foule, belle précision du détail dans ce premier plan, ou ça grouille de vie, ça donne d'autant plus de consistance qu’a première vue même si c'est la mer et le relief escarpé qui attire, c’est quand même la richesse du premier plan s'inscrivant dans une très belle nature qui retiens mon attention, bien amicalement

Olá Siggi, excellent view of Monaco landscape. Nice to see the dominating white contrasting with the blue sea and the mountains disapearing in the distance. Well composed and presented photo.

A very beautiful panoramic sight on Monaco, the light emphasizes well this view from above. The natural colors are very pleasant and especially this blue of the sea. Beautiful glance, cheer.
