[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Der Name geht zurück auf griechische Siedler, die sich im 5. Jahrhundert v. Chr. im Gebiet des heutigen Monaco niederließen. Zu Ehren von Herakles Monoikos errichteten sie einen Tempel. Aus dem Namenszusatz des Gottes, der soviel wie „der Einzigartige“ bedeutet, entwickelte sich der Landesname „Monaco“.

Heute ist Monaco vor allem bei den Reichen der Welt als Wohnsitz begehrt, da weder Einkommensteuer noch Erbschaftsteuer erhoben und im Ausland begangene Finanzvergehen nicht verfolgt werden.

Beautifully aligned white ships are the MAIN source of attraction for me.Furthermore, blue water surrounded by buildings look awesome.You've taken it from good height.Perfectly wrapped.(Best of luck for future)

Hi Siggi.
Great and interesting point of view over this harbour. Lovely colours. I find it a little overexposed in the lighter parts and it could also need some light adjustments in the shaded parts and maybe a add a bit sharpness.

Original view of Monaco that makes an interesting composition, even if the contrast of the light was too strong.
I tried to do a workshop on it, if you don't mind, to make more visible the highlights. Tell me if you like it.

This is a great shot - look how neatly the boats are docked!!
Great lines and great POV.
The colours are really nice - even the pink flowers.

Interesting picture of a marina in this one of smallest states in the World.
Just over-contrasted, but very good composition and POV.

i see, we were attracted by the same monaco sight. yours was shot about a month later than mine :)) beautiful blue in the water however, i feel, the whites are a bit overexposed. but that must have been hard to manage with the strong contrasts present in the scene. why f/4.5? it seems, you have very close foreground objects (the flowers) while the boats are quite some distance away. narrower aperture (F/18 or so) would have given you much better DOF and 3D feel in a scene like this one.
