Photographer’s Note
Monaco is not technically a part of France, but rather it's own independant Nation... however in all of the tourist shops you could purchase small Eiffel towers and pins of France. Wondering around Monaco for the afternoon in mid-august was definitely sweaty and hot. I found that it wasn't as magical as I had imagined, but still quite pretty. There were many shiny cars and large yachts, driven generally by older men who looked as though they spend more money in one day than my entire family will spend in a lifetime. I heard that you cannot freely move to Monaco, you have to apply and be invited to become a citizen. Apparently, Elton John once applied and was rejected, they only except about 30 people a year, if that, and you have to have sufficent amounts of money.
