Photographer’s Note
Novo-Nyametskiy monastery in Kitskany village near Tiraspol is the biggest one in Transnistria. The orthodox monks are so artistry usually and here is the monk silhuette carved from on the tree branch. Although the monastery is the tiny and tranquile destination but generally Kitskany is infamous place where moldovan military forces were bombing Transnistrian capital Tiraspol from, since the village is located on the high right bank of Dniestr during the civil war.
