Photographer’s Note
Orthodox Easter.Tiraspol, Transnistria. Separatist part of Moldova supported by Russian army present here in large numbers. The province still has a feel of deep communism, with Lenin statues and grim buildings along streets with names like Lenin or Marks, and despite of strongest concentration of industry there is a lot of unemployment and general poverty.
Prawosławna wielkanoc.Tiraspol, Naddniestrze. Mimo koncentracji przemysłu, panuje tu bezrobocie i bieda.

An excellent moment Nygus and a great tilt here. The way the woman makes the sign of the cross at the entrance is the key and the most important part of this splendid work. The clarity, the colours, and of course the composition are again tremendous.
