Picture taken on the island Comino.

Comino is a very tiny island (3 square km) in the Maltese archipelago, situated about halfway between Malta and Gozo. Being car-free it’s a quite haven from the busy everyday life of the other islands.

At my previous post of a picture of Comino I mentioned already that I was surprised to find such a high number of plants in flower.
Here you see the blue flower of the thistle that you can find all over the island.
The blue colour isn’t only attractive to photographers. For bees it’s the meeting point.
