Good idea keeping the Sun a bit offset and not exactly in the centre. If the vessel on the left was actually steaming, you could have waited till it came a bit closer to the Sun. That way, you could have got the silhouette of the ship AND this beautiful sunset. You're lucky, you had just the right amount of cloud and in a cute formation too. Nice one.

This shot has some great elements which make it an above average photo of its kind. The clouds are great, and you have that good reflection on the water - all whilst avoiding lens flare. The horizon is a little off-level but that can easily be corrected.
Not sure you needed a fill-in flash here - just goes to show that our cameras aren't so smart sometimes ;)
