Photographer’s Note
I really like these plants with their thick juicy leafs, this one had a beautiful flower and, to top it all off, a fly having a midday snack so I couldn't resist taking a macro shot of the scene.
I am no expert on flora so I don't know what the name of this plant is but I am guessing that it belongs to the subgroup of succulents. I'll try and find out and update my info.

A very nice photo! Beautiful subjects and the sharpness is also amazing. I would crop it and leave only the flower - this will both enhance the composition and emphasize the bug..

I think that I have this same plant in my yard, and I have seen happy flies in them also (they actually look like miniature bees). Nice macro shot, your exposure on the shiny pettals is really good.
