This is another POV from the Lower Barakka Gardens (Il-Barrakka t'Isfel)
This is a garden in Valletta and it is twinned with the Upper Barrakka Gardens in the same city. It offers a magnificent view of the Grand Harbour and the Breakwater.
There are two monuments, one dedicated to Alexander Ball and another in remembrance of the Great Siege of Malta.
Another prominent feature is the neo-classical temple folly at the centre of the park.
In addition, the terrace area features a number of commemorative plaques, dedicated to, amongst others, the Hungarian revolution of 1956, the Prague spring, Giuseppe Garibaldi and the 50th anniversary of the European Union.

The sandstone gateway makes an attractive frame for the garden greenery and the classical architecture in the background. The image is pleasantly lit and has an agreeable and harmonious colour palette. Very good sharpness.

J'apprécie toujours les photo ou le regard doit passer sous une arche quelconque pour aller plus loin dans l'image. Ici , le bâtiment aux belles colonnes qui se cache derrière les arbres est superbe sous cette lumière.

The shrubs make such a good contrast to the walls of stone Daniel, the oleander and olive tree in the FG are not only a good addition to the shot because of their colours but they also add a feeling of place to the image. I like this very much, a well composed and managed shot with a feeling of depth and immediacy. Warm regards Rosemary

I remember another recent picture of yours, a view through the garden and towards the monument. Today's picture offers us another point of view, original and intriguing. I like very much your elegant composition and the use of multiple frames that exalt the detail of the monument. There's a wonderful play of colours and textures that renders the image so vibrant and appealing. The light has been managed really well and has brought out the best in all the colours. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great weekend,

Beautiful summer scene that looks more being in Greece than on Malta. Great use of the arch as a frame within the frame. It allows us a sneak peek towards the greek style temple and the beautiful gardens behind it.
have a great sunday

The interesting building below the blue sky is well framed by the arch. A good management of the light conditions and a very pleasant lush green vegetation here too.
