The Maltese Dghajsa is the taxi of the Valletta Grand Harbour. When the Grand Harbour was the headquarters of the British Fleet it was the only way of transport but was only rowed by a single oarsman who would row standing up with crossed oars. Now a days fitting a small motor at the back is more common.
