Buskett Gardens
It was the 16th Century that Buskett Gardens started off by Grand Master La Valette as a hunting area. Buskett means a small forest and its layout remained the same until today. Verdala palace is a dominated tower on the north side of the gardens. A lot of trees around the palace were planted by the British Government Sir Arthur Borton (1879 – 1884)
