Photographer’s Note

Just began this new hobby!! Bought a canon ixus 750 to help me start and from a few shots i am actually managing to get some good photos like this one. Its funny i am carrying my compact camera everywhere i go just in case i see soemthing worth shooting. i know i got a lot to learn but i am learning from my mistakes and from feedback i recieive from others. So feel free to leave comments!!

This was taken during the feast of St. Mary. It pictures the decoration on the church on this day. The best thing out of it that it is a public holiday for the Maltese!!

Hi Vanessa, this is an excellent shot with strong composition and colours. Difficult to obtain under these lighting conditions. Your comments regarding equipment are true, many people here (myself included) spend too much money on equipment and too little time actually taking shots. For most of us, we're the rate limiting step (not our equipment).
