In this photo you can see some typical Maltese Things.
. These are two layers of Wall. We call it ( Hajt tas-sejjieh)
. Bajtar tax-Xewk

In this photo I tried to show how our fields are during winter.

a very nice winter foto... :) nothing like what i see in the garden by my window now. nice warm light and the green is played out nicely here. pleasant framing with those cacti. good job!

very good use of the rule of third to have the vastness on the land with lust green, also in perfect lighting and shadows displayed!

The fields are very green in winter!
In fact, it looks a lot like England in the spring!
I like the tones of green created by the sun and the shadows and the lovely dof you have created!
I remember Malta with real affection! I spent my holidays there in 2006!

Hi Andrea.
I like the very fresh colors of this picture and the fact that you have included the cactus in the foreground. The choice of composition is really nice even if it doesn't allow too much to enjoy the pure bleu sky. I like the way it makes us focus on the fresh foreground.

The winter must be very temperate there, don't worry we don't have any more season except tropical summer in Suriname.

I like your way adding green field with stone barriers while extending its depth using a vegetation at left. Good works, congratulations.

Andrea,
not the typical winter image that someone would expect to see from the northern hemisphere. It almost reminds me of californian winter landscape when finally the rain gets back everything to green versus the brown that covers the rest of the year. The inclusion of the cactus in the foreground is a good framing element.

Light has made a really focus on the bright green fields. Cactus on the left bottom corner of the frame made the compo even better.
