Photographer’s Note
I stood upon a path today,
and realized that the fork
I followed led away
from hearth and comfort.
I strode on into chaos.
seeking for adventure,
swept up in currents
of destruction and despair.
I struggled forward
against the howling storm
until—exhausted—I stopped
and realized I was a fool.
I stayed my course no more,
turning back, and hurried home
to you—sped onward by
remembrance and dreams of warmth.

Bonjour Andrea,

Hi Andrea!
Very interesting POV. Good sharp and good color.
I don't like on your photo this electrical pylon.
I was in your country on june 2003.
Greetings from Poland.

Great composition and most amazing perspective! You have not just one, but two, great "lead in" lines! Excellent light managment, too! Congratulations!

Hi Andrea
Theese stone walls gives an interesting perspective and a good interest of the composition.
But the electric pylons disturb a little on the right.
Cheers.

Hi Andrea,
Lovely depth achieved by this view of the old stone fence that is seen in great details and sharpness as it contrast brilliantly with the lush green grass.

Hi Andrea.
Interesting POV on this path surrounded by nice stone walls. The light was harsh but you managed quite well to keep the nice natural colors of the scene. Maybe a slightly higher POV would have been interesting not to cut the central tree too tight.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Andrea,
I like this path with the good play of light and shadow. And a soft change for the view to have the path leading to the position the first pole has in the capture now would give more attention I think. Good colours and sharpness.

Hello Andrea,
I'm not quite sure why they built those rock fences, probably the easiest way to dispose of the stones when they cultivated the land!
Here the path makes an effective lead-in to the buildings in the back...
Well framed, and the varied light adds life!

Bonjour Andrea,
voici une vue bien cadrée qui donne de la perpective et qui invite le regard à suivre cette tranchée.
Mélange de vieilles pierres et de technologies nouvelles.
Bien à toi.

Hello Andrea,
Excellent choice of vantage point to show the footpath, and accentuate the one-point perspective (where the parallel lines converge at one point on the horizon line). I've visited Malta three times and came away impressed each time.
Warm regards,
