Xlendi is a village in Malta situated in the south west of the island of Gozo. The name is probably derived from the word "xelandion", a type of Byzantine vessel which may have anchored in the port. Ideal place for divers!

Hello Agnes,

I cannot help but admiring this shot,'cos I'm an enthusiast of sea and seascape. Good composition, wonderful colour of the sea.
I guess the wind that was blowing was Siroco (or Scirocco as we say) i.e. from south East, probably a force 6-7.
Did you notice in Malta that the colour of the sea changes according to the provenience of the wind?
