I dedicate this picture to Jason(jcpix).
I know it´s nothing special, but I hope it´ll cheer you up a little in these hard days for you.
It reminds me a little the mask from "Scream" movie, but this one looks more happy. It was taken on the boat trip around Azurre Window on Gozo island.

a really nice shot to post for poor Jason, I hope he sees it and it lifts his spirit, we all feel for him. It is an amazing rock face and has a distinct Egyptian Sphinx feel about it. I went to Gozo a long time ago and I visited the Azure Window but I have no recollection of this face in the rocks or should I say Rockface! Wonderful.
Have a great weekend - Brian.
PS thanks for your kind comments on recent postings always appreciated. B.

An imaginary face on the rock, well spotted Krzysztof and fine clear shot.
Nature doe's marvelous work as sculpturer.
Layers from diff. eras are notable on the fine photo collected.

I think this rockface looks a bit spooky.
I have to admit that I didn't notice it when I was in Dwejra and I haven't seen other pictures of it here on TE.
So you observed well.
The cliffs of Dwejra are very spectacular. This face adds an interesting change.
Best regards, Paul

Good vp from here so very well exposed to get every detail of fascinating rock formation, lovely natural colours against blue bg perfectly oriented this way. That 'bonehead' is gruesome! one step up from a maggot crawling out of the eye, it's a superb 'still life' which I could look at for ages for it looks dead happy!!!! LOL
Well done shot, tfs.

Now this is very cool :) Normally when people say, you can see a face its quite hard to spot and you have to squint your eyes to make it out, but this is so obvious, it literally just jumps out of the shot. You've created a perfect smile to make us smile too!
All the best

The question is who will see the face without the note giving the clue :)
Have a nice week-end,

Ciao e buon fine settimana

I like this because it reminds me of Edvard Munch's 'Scream'. It is appropriate given that yesterday was Halloween in the UK too! A unique rock formation worth recording to bring a smile to someone.

a really funny face that must be a surprising and fascinating sight for the voyagers. You captured it from a great angle making the shadows work for your composition superbly. There's great sense of depth and the rough textures and warm tines stand out to great effect. The framing is very apt and makes the view of the rock look like a real portrait. Congratulations and thank you! I hope that your photo and gesture will cheer Jason up and that everything will be all right.
Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely weekend,

Hello my dear friend,
It's been an unsettling 36 hours to say the least, and I still have a long way to go before feeling safe again. This is a most kind gesture and one that has put a smile on my face, and a much needed one right now. Thank you so very much!
I wish I had the time and energy to personally thank everyone for their kind words of support and encouragement, hopefully they will see this note and know that I'm genuinely grateful to be part of this community.
I'm sure my TE addiction won't keep me away for too long...and at least I have a lot of Halloween candy left to drown my sorrows with. :) What's a photographer to do without a camera...I feel kinda' helpless!? Just glad no one was harmed though. Much love to everyone out there! Thanks again for thinking of me!

Sensational this composition so original and curious, certainly the rocky wall and cavities form, seems totally one-sided and that also seems to smile. Very well seen and captured superbly.
Very good brightness and sharpness is also excellent.
Enjoy good weekend.
All the best.

Either a smiling face, or an astonished face (jaws dropped). In either case, a very interesting find, thanks for sharing.
