It´m my vision of the famous Maltese(actually it is located in the island of Gozo)Azurre Window.
I´ve seen lately Daniel´s(dkmurphys) version of this beautiful nature landmark(taken from the land side),so I decided to present to you the Azurre window from the sea side.I know the picture does not convey well the color of the water in this place, but believe me it´s really fabulous.
I processed the image in Photomatix(HDR).

Ciao e buona domenica

Fabulous view under the mighty arch of the rock, Krzysztof.
An attraction in the island, that saw already on TE - but always from its other side.
Great shot while on a boat, view through show people as tiny as they look against nature's.
Have a nice week ahead,

so now you're able to walk on water!?
I would honsetly never have thought this was taken in HDR, it certainly doesn't look like it at all.
I think I can see people standing way off into the middle bg, thats cool.
and the detailing on the rocks are a great addition.
love the 1/3 horizon line, just the way it should be!
excellent HDRing on this shot my friend.
it came out well

your point of view is great, it gives us a rewarding amount of this fantastic sea and makes the rock look even more imposing and fascinating. There's a limited colour palette but each main colour is graced by a delightful play of lighter and darker hues that also set off the details and textures. I like very much the combination of royal blue and golden tones next to the formidable shade and the pastel blue of the sky. The arch is framing a human interest scene that gives another special feature to your wonderful image. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a lovely Sunday,

Te formacje są świetne, podobne skały sa w Portugalii w Lagos, a zdjęcie pierwszorzędne, kolor wody jak do katalogu, super, robi wrażenie

An enormous coastal scape and rock formation - the natural window is so well depicted. Wonderfully captured in the gorgeous warming light abound of delicate details to enjoy with those textures of the strata and the gorgeous colours. Fantastic low shot with that depth of clarity all the way through while the contrast to deep blue water and sky is indeed looks striking glueing the eyes in. Its wonderfully captured and processed. An impactful image, great work. Congrats.

One of the things I find incredible from Trekearth is the differences in the color of the sea around the world, and again here you show such a beautiful deep blue. Irelands sea's are grey and murky green, so its always a pleasure to see this wonderful shade to the sea. And what better way to portray it than an all encompassing foreground of azure combined with this incredible rock formation. The colors contrast so well together and the bridge of rock makes me look deeper inside to the little tower on the cliff through the view.
The whole scene is really deep as we can off into the distance and the misty cliffs on the right hand side. A beautiful view, natures glory in many ways shown so well here.
Cheers and thanks!

This is a step away from many of your shots Krzysztof and your seascape is beautiful and as finely managed as your cityscapes and architecture shots. Detailing is very good across the rocky archway and the framing of the tiny figures is perfectly timed. Your POV is nice a low which accentuates the height of the formation and makes a good textural detail of the sea. Beautiful colours too. Have a lovely week ahead. Rosemary

Krzysztof Witaj very good picture of this interesting composition with the interesting cliffs and whimsical formations and sea blue hair, beautifully captured in this beautiful image with good sharpness, nice color and light. Very good and interesting job well done, congratulations my friend. Thanks for sharing this beautiful work.
Good evening and happy start to the week.
Warm greetings from southern Spain.

wow, what a shot. Crystal clear. Beautiful colours. Love the rock made arch. Great view, composed masterfully. Superb one. Tfs.

I understand why you've chosen another POV to show this well-known Azurre Window.
Possibly you took this photo in a small boat leaving from the small lagoon called the Inland Sea and after passing through the narrow tunnel in the rocks. The picture reminds me at the little boat excursion that I made there. The pictures I made in the swaying boat are of very bad quality. So at the time I posted a more classical view of the Window.
Very beautiful colour contrasts between the blue water and the sunlit almost orange rocks.
I like the view through the Window with the visitors of another cave on the distance.
Best regards, Paul

I must say, I love your vision alright...this is gorgeous! What a viewpoint too, were you out for a swim when you took this picture? :) Not having been there myself, I can only imagine the clarity and color of the sea, and your rendition here is deeply rich in blue...and for it being my favorite color, it couldn't make this shot any better! :)
If that wasn't enough to enjoy, the sunlight on the natural rock formations is outstanding...that gold/yellow hue set against the water is simply sublime. Compliments on the exposure balance, impressive how much detail there is is the shaded areas...it's all so crisp and clean. One of my favorite elements in this shot is the background portion of the cliffs, that sheer vertical rock face caught my attention at the outset, and I love what it does for the sense of overall depth. You've come strong with these images my friend, these have been awesome! Can't wait for the next one. Enjoy the new day. Take it easy.
Best wishes from the desert,

What are these people small there in background, this is splendid to look at.
I like these big rocks and certainly the opening in centre of your picture.
Sharpness and clarity be superb.
Very well done, TFS.

lovely shot of this famous Gozo landmark, and yes the blues do still shine out in this sea view. Looks a lot calmer than when I visited a few years ago when I was nearly pitched into the waters to experience the blues up close ;-(. Exquisite clarity and glorious textures make this so captivating and beautiful.
Have a great week - Brian.

Wow! Awesome capture of this natural bridge! There used to be one like this, maybe smaller, in La Jolla, California, but the many storms destroyed it. Great pov and sharp details. Well done, tfs.

I like your competition with Daniel around the Malta's presentation! ))) Excellent one! Unusual point of view to Malta, excellent composition, it brings me back to Corfu and the islands around. I see the people on the background, so the water is very warm for swimming.
I have never been in Seattle, my friends did not recommended me this visit. It's so far from my trip list and there is very wet place. It's raining constantly, like a Cologne today )))

Witaj dear Krzysztof
Ahh now I get it! When Daniel saw my Donegal Sea Arch, he remarked how it reminded him of the Azure Window, and now I see why. What a stunning shot and your photo (even though you didn't mean to) gives us an excellent idea of just how blue and bottomless that beautiful sea is. Stunning colours, light management and reflections. I don't often see seascapes in your Gallery and so appreciate them all the more. It's a wonderful marine photo, capturing one of the world's most beautiful natural sculptures.
Have a lovely day, thanks for sharing

Great show from a boat presumably? I love the contrast between the yellow cliffs and the blue of the sea - must be even more spectacular in reality.

Un très beau souvenir pour moi de revoir ce splendide rocher, dans un jeu ombre et de lumière , une mer d'un bleu azur, une très belle présentation sur ile de Gozo

Very good POV, you had the good light from the boat. I like the saturated colors, great work.
I guess you had a fine ride there...did you taste the lampuki fish at the restaurants near the Azure Window?

Splendid capture of this amazing natural sculpture. I`ve seen something similar in Iceland. I really like the contrast between the colours of the cliff and the deep blue water. A well thought composition with a fine balance between the different elements. Very nice work:) Thanks.
Best regards, Erling

I do like the treatment that accentuates the colours and the textures of the massive arch the size of which is made more impressive with the inclusion of the tiny figures pictured in the BG.
An impressive view with excellent clarity.
Kind regards Les.
danos (78112) 2013-10-16 8:43
fascinating the view of the rock formation that really looks as a great open window.Excellent presentation with the blue of the sea to contrast perfect with the reddish colours of the rocks.A dreamily place of this landmark of Gozo.

rzeczywiscie przepiekne okno w skale. Aby uzyskac tak wspaniala kompozycje to swietnie wykorzystales wspanialy punkt widzenia aby osiagnac tak wspanialy efekt. Bardzo mi sie podoba naturalna kolorystyka skal jak i cudowny kolor wody. Doskonakla ostrosc pozwala nam zobaczyc ludzi ktorzy wykorzystuja to piekno natury bedac tam. Sliczna kompozycja, bardzo mi sie podoba. Moje gratulacje.

I like your window, I like the view through your window and I like how it is presented. A pleasant view presented I lush colors and with excellent composition always gets my attention. If it involves a large body of water, all the better! TFS.

Wonderful composition with this stunning coastline, beautiful colors of the rock on the cliffs, but that tremendous natural arch created by the sea is spectacular and wonderful, very nice that color as blue sea, although it has other dye shades for effect reflexes.
Perfect lighting and sharpness for details.
Very well done.
Enjoy the weekend.
All the best.

Original rocks, a good memory for me but viewed with strong waves ... here, so lovely light and blue sea, well captured.
pierrefonds (51000) 2013-11-09 16:16
Using the arch to frame the background is a good idea, it is also giving depth to the scene. The point of view is showing the détails and colors of the rock formation. It is clear and sharp. Have a nice day.
