This is the second of my photos from Lake Ohrid. The first is here:
I was fascinated by the way a light haze hung over the surface of the water. As you can see from this picture it isn't an overall mist because the rooftops are perfectly clear. But the lake and headland are very fuzzy.
In yesterday's photo you will notice that I used some smart blur to emphasize the effect. Today there is no significant post-pro apart from the usual tweeks to saturation and contrast and a little USM.

Jonathan, this is a beautiful shot. THe huge area of water, and the fading reflection of the mountains, together with the excellent POV above the red roof create a great composition. Very well captured.

A wonderful shot !
The splendid sharp foreground of the roofs going into a misty and soft scene. Nice colours too, great work from you, Jonathan !

The contrast between the crisp foreground and misty background is really impressive. The way the light is diffused merges the sky and the water beautifully and creates a beautiful color. It has a very light and ethereal type of feel for me here with this special light. It's well composed with the buildings leading the eye forward into the water and the haze leading the eye back in a motion back and forth to really take it all in. The textures and details in the foreground are another excellent part of the photo. Great job capturing these conditions for us all to enjoy.

Hi Jonathan, a beautiful point of view for a fine composition, the depth is superb, depth and clearness are beautiful, I like the water near the boat, the mist creates a very special and unique atmosphere, well done.

Hi Jonathon, Very good to see this place with the mist adding another dimension at this time of the day. Rooftops are often a strong reflection of various locations and the POV here emphasises this. TFS. Murray.
