Photographer’s Note
The ancient city of Stobi had its peak during Roman times. It was capital of the Roman province Macedonia Secunda, had the right of selfgoverning and the right to mint coins. Stobi was destroyed with the big earthquake of 518. Today remains of churches, palaces, baths, squares and theatre can be seen here. The trill of the visit is that probably you’ll have the whole site to yourself.
